Elizabeth Shope
Elizabeth Shope is an Advocate in NRDC's International Program, focusing on tar sands. Prior to joining NRDC in 2009, Elizabeth worked with Greenpeace, the Energy Action Coalition, and Clearwater. She graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy, where she convinced Harvard to switch their toilet paper and paper towels from clear-cut Kimberly-Clark products to 100-percent recycled Bay West. Her other passions include cooking, baking, gardening, and biking.
