Mandy Simon

Mandy Simon is a food-loving thirty-something living and eating in Washington, D.C.  Precociously, she enrolled in a cooking class as an eight-year old, baking inedible muffins and banana breads. Twenty years of food-TV viewing and cookbook reading helped Mandy improve her skills. By boosting flavor and making the most of fresh produce, she’s developed a set of vegetarian recipes designed to make an impact on taste buds -- not waistlines.

Mandy does full-time communications work for a non-profit and contributes to the Internet Food Association, a blog run by hungry D.C. wonks and journalists.
